This is going to be a good game by the looks of it.

Sturt will face a bigger test this week than the training drill they had last week, while Centrals did enough to get over Port.

All in all, Centrals by 12 points.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Neutral view...hope they SMASH each other...

Central IMO to win by about 3 goals, due to Sturt being premiership favourites.

Both teams go into the game very settled from last week and with confidence from wins. Sturt are bolstered with the inclusion of Deluca(if he decides to 'play'), I think Cubillo should play in the reserves unless Rick has a matchup in mind. Should be an absolute ripper of a game, Centrals have been a bit slow off the starting blocks early in previous years so I think Sturt will win by 18pts. GO YOU BLUESMEN!!

I think from the named Central team Chris Gowans (injured) and Cameron Faulkner (injured) will be the players out. I know Chris went back onto the field after injuring his shoulder but we all know the next day is the test of how you have pulled up, and my gut feeling was that really really hurt him.
I don't think Faulkner is in a position yet to walk straight back into the side so if he is fit i think he will have another run in the magoos.

Yes, we may be 1 Gowans short at the moment but how can you say your guys are physically stronger when you had a "walk in the park" against a hapless Redlegs and we had a "dour, fighting win" against the Magpies... ?

We will see who is tougher come 5pm Saturday arvo.... !!!!

If you saw how hard our talented squad trained pre-season under Rick Macgowan then you'd be in consensus with me :D :D

Yep, dogs players spent the pre-season in the pub, didn't train hard at all.

In each trial we have shown the Footy Public we can come home strong.

At Marion we were 18 points down at lemon time and kicked 7 to zip in the last Quarter.

At Coopers' our relentless physical pressure saw us outscore the Redlegs 7 goals to zip after half-time.

Exactly... =D>

You saw how "hard" our 'talented and supreme' squad trained in the off season did you sturtpeter ? If you did then your consensus would be spot on wouldn't it... ??? :-s :-k

If you didn't, once again, how can you make that kind of judgement after 1 game mate ? :-s

I personally think that both teams match up really well and I guess like I said before, it WILL be a great game of footy and we will just have to wait to see how it pans out ??? 8)

I really hope our boys don't get intimidated by a "physically stronger" outfit !! ?

Even if we are physically intimidated, I reckon we have better skills than Sturt. As long as we can limit the impact of Sturt's midfield and our defenders play at their best (especially Sibba on Chambo and Shelly on Perrie) then we will be looking good for a 3 goal win... !!! :D

GO U DOGGIES... :D

I think if Central underestimates Sturt they will be beaten. As I don't think that will happen, I'm going for Central by 3 goals.

Another year of this! God help us. Norwood were pretty ordinary, they only kicked 4 goals for the game so to kick 7 goals to 0 after half-time isn't that great. If you do that this week then I will congratulate you, but until then...
