Magarey Medal 2008

Postby Wedgie » Sat Mar 29, 2008 9:17 pm

I called last year's Magarey Medalist in March last year.
Im slack and have put it off a month this year.
Barring injury Rhys Archard.
What a gun! :D
Even if David Clarke doesn't play 1 game for us he's already paid the transfer fee in getting Rhys to the club!

Certainly agreed with that at 1/4 time Wedgie.

Only issue (bar injury) will be fitness over 4 full quarters early in the season given he was a bit of a late starter to pre-season training and the fitness level required is probably higher at Prospect than Echuca.

Fred Phillis (Glenelg) 1969, I think was the last.

its called a guess and having a bit of fun

Oh right ?? I think a lot of supporters are having a bit of fun mate when they tip their side to win the flag. My point is that a lot of supporters a quick to have a go at sides that show form early ( mainly your sides supporters by the way !!) Anyway as a bit of fun I should have picked Chambo to be the leading goal kicker last year , as a bit of fun , maybe bag a 100 just for fun , a few Sturt blokes to equal runner up in the Magarey , just for a bit of fun . Anyway for a bit of fun I might pick the Dogs for the flag .
