C 14.4
P 10.8

Straighter kicking. Centrals supporters will be happy with a hard fougth win. I think most Port supporters should be content with how the Pies played.

Good crowd, I didn't count them but 6500 would be around the mark.

Get used to it. There were plenty handed out last night, it looks as though that's how they will umpire in 2008.

The umps tonight were an absolute disgrace. The SANFL umpired have been absolutely pathetic for a fair few years now but after tonights performance and apparantly last nights, they have hit a new low. Some of the free kicks paid and not paid was laughable.

Also, how the hell can they play night footy at Elizabeth, the lighting is way below what is required. Need to give the players miners helmets. 30m out from goal straight out in front is dark, and you can hardly tell what team a player plays for when they are across the other side of the oval.

Finally, while im having a rant, what a pathetic display by the security tonight. When the fat wanker decided to run accross the oval, the security did NOTHING AT ALL. It was left for one of the umpires to run up to him amd usher him in the direction of the boundary. When fatty finally got to the fence, the security from the other side of the ground decided to walk across the oval, and were still in the middle of the wing when play restarted.

After tonights game, we need a new same for the SANFL. South Australian Netball Fairy League? Substandard Amateur National Football League? South Australian Nocturnal Football League? All these are fitting of tonights display.

Despite that, Im very happy with how Port played, and Centrals supporters can be very happy with how the Doggies played (except for the coward #39 for the Dogs who punched a player who was laying on the ground in the back)

Yep Macca, our kicking did let us down tonight, not just for goal but around the ground too. Too many kicks didn't hit the target and there were many kicks intercepted because they didn't go more than 1.5m above the ground all the way. It was a good, tough game of footy tinight, but the umps tried to turn it into a game of netball.

It was a great game tonight. It was tight, tough physical game, as you'd expect from Centrals and Port.

While the streaker incident was hilarious (fortunately), something has to be done about Weslo. What if it was some nut wanting to take out a player, or something more sinister. The fact that the streaker (who entered from the northern end), was merely strolling at the southern end before a Weslo was even spotted showed how incompetent they were. Weslo then held the game up more when a couple of Weslo clowns strolled along the grandstand-side ring, only moving when the umpire told them to move off.

Its a good thing that we can sit here and laugh about it, and not sit here thinking about a player that got hurt by someone in the crowd. I agree, something seriously needs to be done about Weslo. They were disgraceful.
