Not having ago Fatal.
But as an Eagles fan who lives on the LeFevre Pen.And as a fan who had not been to Elizabeth oval for about 20 yrs found it very quick place to get to from here. When the new bridge finally gets finished will be even quicker .

As I said Wedgie I wasn't having a go.In fact I was surprised how close I lived to Elizabeth oval coming from past Port Adelaide .Must have been all those trips from Flinders Park to Elizabeth that confused me.
and as Fatal said he has something else on .

I know you weren't having a go mate, but I thought you might have assumed Fatal lived near the Port area being a Port supporter but he probably couldn't live much further away.

Wedgie - I think you're possibly under the impression that I live in the hills. I grew up there, but I actually live in Bowden. It's about 10 minutes from Alberton if you get a good run with lights.

Still too far to go to Elizabeth though. And still a stupid time for a game. And I still have something else on anyway.

Wouldn't it take you longer, to get to Norwood and Prospect now than it would to Elizabeth (due to the new road)?
I love that new road! Makes getting to Footy Park and points west of the city soooo much easier.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Apologies in advance for going off topic

The new road is great - I used it for the first time last thursday. My beef is though, I have to get off* either at Regency Road and still travel most the way down GJ Road (pointless) OR travel through Mawson Lakes and back track to get to home at Holden Hill.

No point in getting off* at Port Wakefield Road becuase you can't chuck a U-turn to head southward for about 2 or 3 km up the road..

TOO FAR? It's the same bloody distance that it has been for the last 44 years! I'ts not like we are on a separate techtonic plate & are drifting away from the rest of Adelaide at a rapid rate! Soft as Nanna's scones....
