As goes for most of you that have posted rubbish and offered disrespect to Tim Weatherald, the man is a friend of mine and has taught my son back when I could afford to send him to PAC for a couple of years. All the kids love the guy and so do we Sturt supporters.
One thing that none of you disrespecting posters can take away from him is his record of over 260 SANFL games, a Premiership Medal, and a Magarey Medal. How many here can boast that?

Anyone who thinks Trevor Grimwood was the worst Magarey Medalist ever didn't watch much football in 1977. He was sensational that year and no question deserved the medal.

Tim was a courageous, consistent and skilful player when he won his MM but there is no doubt that his time is up (probably was last season) and he needs to step aside. We have too many promising young players pushing for selection for a 31/32 year old to prevent them gaining an opportunity.

Tim epitomised everything necessary to win the MM.

Courage. Fairness. Brilliance. Team-Play.

He will be sorely missed at Unley. Good luck with your teaching profession at PAC and I hope you have a long, healthy, successful life with your family and mates.
