When I first saw this thread I actually thought it was about Ginevar and Port had sacked him...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That will be the next Bye Bye Timmy thread, about 2/3 of the way through the season.

That may be a little bit of a long bow to draw locky.

I went for a jog 3 mornings each week with Josh Deegan in his role as a fitness instructor, up to the time of the bombings that took his life and it certainly isn't a crutch to lean on in the days since.

Absolute rubbish comment mate. You were there in Bali were you - you went through it did you? Pull your head in.

None of you blokes including Jesper know the true story - perhaps avail youselves of the facts before posting disparaging rubbish on the site.

BTW - All Magarey Medallists are deserved of their accolade. Don't be so disrespectful.

Macgowan had planned to use him off the bench this season. Which was something Tim was not happy to do.

All the best.

Bit harsh mate, I always thought Greg Whittlesea had that title comfortably.

Tried to dictate to the coach where he'd play and Rick wouldn't put up with that and rightfully so.

Ill back Whittlesea he could atleast kick the ball over 35 metres.

JarMan, without meeting you personally are you just following other punters on this forum? Were you one of the Dogs that left early in the '02 GF with a 'thinskin' condition? I'll give you ONE example of Tim kicking over 50m, something everyone can see for themselves so they can see what rubbish you talk. 2002 GF, 40-50 out on the SE boundry after stunning one of your twits that day holding the ball, kicks a goal.
MATE, watch it but if you don't have the guts to take the nonsense you're talking back on this site.
And now we're imploding?
Generally this is just another cheap shot by a few people who forward cheap comments. JarMan, Wedgie and Bayman, you should all have a look at yourselves and just what you're trying to achieve with this, you talk about a player as though he's played 50 games instead of 250+, get real, get a life and get some perspective.

BWWAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Timmy is that you ????

thats one fine dummy spit.

Cant remember timmys goal sorry to upset you cuttman. Must confess after 8 GFs in a row they can get a bit blurred. Surely you remember as a Sturt fan what its like (if you are about 60 y.o and dont suffer from alzheimers)

When you are the powerhouse of the comp i think its Ok to Leave grand Finals early. Its not like your not going to be back the next year. Let me guess been over five years since you last attended a SANFL GF Cuttman ???

You are one of those sad sturt fans that still thinks 2002 is relevant dont you. Eventhough a losing Centrals player from 2002 is now coaching you. Cos Rick will really refer back to that fateful day. DREAMING!!!

Booney wrote:I'm not sure about the comments suggesting he 'had to prove himself' gain,or 'start his career again' being very accurate.

Surely he has nothing to prove to anyone at the Sturt FC,and he can never 'start his career' over again, but what he can do is prove that growing older in a young mans game can cause you to be surplus to requirements. In this case all that is left for him to do is show just how much of a 'CLUB' man he is......I hope more comes to light as it appears the club does not come first for him.*
Many players over the years would have been dissapointed with the decision a coach/club made to not see them as a first pick player. How you react to it and then respond is very important.

Not even you could be that stupid/egotistical resigned blue. Although .....Surely you still dont believe anyone dogs fans cares in the slightest about 2002 anymore. We have lost a GF since then and won more flags than the Sturt FC has in the last 30 years.

Im certainly not obsessed with 2002. But i know sturt fans are. I even have a theory as to why.

Probably should have retired after the 2002 grand final. His best football has been well past him since then. Sturt would be no chance of being 2008 premiers if Weatherald was in your best 21 this year.

I've got no idea what the story is, haven't seen it.

But you seem to know the facts, what are they?

I'm not interested in having a crack at Timmy - a fine workman for his club. By devaluing his Magarey, I feel some are devaluing our competition.

Dear SMACK...everything with your reply to this thread is rubbish!
May I point out that Rhino [moderator edit] has a fair idea what goes on with the club and what he writes about.
Take a lesson! :butthead:

As goes for most of you that have posted rubbish and offered disrespect to Tim Weatherald, the man is a friend of mine and has taught my son back when I could afford to send him to PAC for a couple of years. All the kids love the guy and so do we Sturt supporters.
One thing that none of you disrespecting posters can take away from him is his record of over 260 SANFL games, a Premiership Medal, and a Magarey Medal. How many here can boast that?
Not too bloody many!
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.
