Nay, I disagree MT79.
Apparently Glenelg experimented with only 2 blokes in the center all game and they wore clown shoes throughout the final quarter.
I won't be reading too much in to this result.

r.kirkby was reported late in the last term, i don't think he'll have too much to worry about, i was happy with what i saw apart from the kicking at goal, from memory with the aid of a 3 goal breeze glenelg kicked 2.8.20 to sturt 3.0.18 in the first term, i thought chambers looked as good as he did last year, but perrie was only rarely sighted through the night, for glenelg most of our good players played a half to 3/4's of the game & they are the 'usual suspects'

Blue Boy, you need to get on doubleblue.org/forum, usually the news about Sturt is best gotten from there. Apparently Nelson sprained something in the first half and was rested after that. Last I read was no one had any news about the severity.

all i did was give a brief summary to what i saw & yes sturt rested players as well & some didn't even play, it isn't any excuse, & what i said before is correct who cares who wins/loses trial games, i believe you went fishing & i bit back, but at least unlike sturt1, i like you stay on line win lose or draw when important games are played, & if you don't want my summary of what i saw just tell me & i'll go hiding like sturt1 as well ffs

Sturt's defence has been so tight arsed in the 3 trials. When opposition teams can't manage 10 goals - and these are all teams that beat us last year- and when you've got Chambers, Perrie and several very useful others up forward, it's hard not to get optimistic.
Time will tell, but beating 3 out of 3 of last year's finalists is better than losing.
