It's in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics.
Will be moving to Queensland where the academy/institute thingy is.
Good luck to him, could think of nothing better then seeing him get a medal!

In Chocko's last year at the Bay this big gangly rower came down and played twos footy with us and was in our league training squad for the finals.
he took 95 off to try and make the Atlanta Olympics as he was a member of the Coxless 4s that won a junior world Gold medal. Unfortunately with no Chocko he didn't come back in 96 when he didn't make the Olympic team....
I was not surprised when Port Power first drafted him as I know Chocko was a big wrap for him.

i think that the main reason he didn't comeback to glenelg was his manager at the time who was also his coach at ironbank, was helpfull or influential in bf going to sturt

I read it on a forum and it suited my agendas so it must be true Smithy! But from a good source in a local rag I heard that Glenelg were actually being dragged down by a schism of small minded paranoid supporters? There's a rift going right through the club, board is split!!
