FFS we didn't come down out of trees yesterday boys, Allaway, Ladhams, Cox, Hargraves, Francou for the year (for the Uninformed he's not included in the salary cap so no insinuations -okay) all to come back, a midfield firing, a dominant forward, gee if that club isn't starting to think about football in October well they can't be serious.

Centrebet have them on the first line of betting, gee boys, toot toot get on the train for Football park in October as you are dead set certs to be there at the business end.

Undefeated and they have barely played 8 quarters of decent footy for the year, only possible chances are to derail the North train are Port and the Dogs

I mean having played in 7 premierships if anyone has a right or the knowledge to pick a flag favourite it is Ginevar

So Wedgie, Dreb, Ian, Punky etc clear the diary for October......

You said it tassie and yes we expect to play finals and finish in the top 3 then we will see if we are good enough. If we don't ge the double chance this year with a much stronger list then we never will. It is too early with too many variables to be opening one's trap. We have long term injuries to 2 key recruits (Alleway and Walker) and injuries to Hargs, Koops, Ladhams, Howard, Cox and Coulter. There's 8 walk up starts and only Ladhams and maybe Cox are anywhere near certanties to play this week so you don't think that gives the bays a look in or any other team we play if we are missing that many? So until we get our best side on the park anything can happen. October is a fair way off yet!

We can't win Tassie, if we talk North up we're labelled cocky, if we don't talk them up we still cop it!
And this was just a matter of saying how ridiculous Giniver's comment was as we're not that far ahead of Port if at all, Chiniver is actually the one talking down his club, send his way mate, they're also on the front line of betting last time I looked.
PS A nominal amount for Francou each game will count towards the salary cap. But lets just say that North fans are divided on what they think of Francou anyway.

Who? Even us at North are unsure of whether this bloke exists at the moment!!

Its a long season though, we have won 3 out of 3, still 17 games to go. The next month will be a big test.
Until we can regularly beat Centrals, we shouldn't be considered flag favourites. Big game this week will show where we are at.

The only people talking up North as 'unbackable flag favourites' are opposition clubs waiting for us to fall![/b]

Glenelg has a good list, almost no injuries, and beat the dogs by more on neutral ground.

Hooray! We're going to win the flag!

Based on what I have seen this year I rate the Bays as the big improvers. Against us they dominated the midfield (and we had a reasonable group that day) and were positive in attack. If they can reproduce that form consistantly they will be high on the table this year.
We used to be good :-(
