Ginever starts the mind games

Postby - » Mon Apr 24, 2006 1:02 pm

In todays tiser Ginever talks about how if you are 5%off in this comp u will get done.

He gauged where Port were at by saying "I just feel we're up their but we're no North Adelaide."

Yeah right Tim. You and everybody else knows you are the genuine article. I like your style though mind games in sport are a lot of fun. I hope Jars read it and comes up with a good return of serve.

If they both forget about Centrals they might both be looking very sorry for themselves come October..the Dogs were carp this time last year too but the cup returned to familiar surrounds by the end of the year...

And everyone accuses us of blowing our own trumpet? Seriously Port is the clear favourite at this stage - good list with minimal injuries and they have beaten the dogs. If we progress along with the injuries we currently have or seem to get each week then we will struggle over the next few weeks.

Glenelg has a good list, almost no injuries, and beat the dogs by more on neutral ground.

Hooray! We're going to win the flag!

"Jars" and "thoughts to himself" has to be the biggest oxymoron in history.

I think you will find that Jars will not back up that statement with any outrageous statements about how we are going. In fact he rates Centrals as still the team to beat and is very complimentary about every team - as we all know it is a long season and there are no easy games - at least at this point of the year. I think it is wait and see but that doesn't mean we are not confident of doing well all year.

Christ -, you like his style of mind games?
Its more transparent than a piece of glad wrap, I'd expect a 3yo to come up with something a bit more intelligent and less obvious!
I like how people like to go overboard on North as well as pay out their coach at the same time.
Weird to say the least!

PS lol@punky, spot on there!

I do like it because its so simple. Whether or not is will affect any outcomes is very doubtful but I still like the thought and think it's funny.

I love it how the North blokes are talking their club down, keeping a lid on it, not getting ahead of themselves and understating their chances for the year.......

FFS we didn't come down out of trees yesterday boys, Allaway, Ladhams, Cox, Hargraves, Francou for the year (for the Uninformed he's not included in the salary cap so no insinuations -okay) all to come back, a midfield firing, a dominant forward, gee if that club isn't starting to think about football in October well they can't be serious.

Centrebet have them on the first line of betting, gee boys, toot toot get on the train for Football park in October as you are dead set certs to be there at the business end.

Undefeated and they have barely played 8 quarters of decent footy for the year, only possible chances are to derail the North train are Port and the Dogs

I mean having played in 7 premierships if anyone has a right or the knowledge to pick a flag favourite it is Ginevar

So Wedgie, Dreb, Ian, Punky etc clear the diary for October......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
