Oharas Knee

Postby Jar Man Out » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:26 am

Got told by a North fan at work yesterday Ohara went down with a serious knee injury last week. He said he found out friday night.

Waiting on the results of the scans but they fear the worse.

Can any other north fans confirm ???

Normally I wouldn't give this sort of rumour much credence either, but the fact that North fans seem very tight lipped about it when surely someone would have seen him training or something gives me the gut feel this one may be on the money.

North fans... tight lipped??
From what I gather its the total opposite!! I dont visit the Roost, but if a North fan knows something about their club or team it surely is posted on their forum.

Must admit I rarely catch up with any players, coaching staff or trainers during the off season.
Used to have a couple of "moles" who have moved on so the only info I get on football related matters is through the Roost.
When the season is upon us and we're around the place every week the info flows steadily then.
As far as Im honestly aware he could have a scratch on his knee or he could have a complete reconstruction necessary, I wouldn't have a clue.
Will catch up with a few when in Canberra so if the full story's not out by then I'll find out then.
I know we've recruited another ruckman, Jars was talking about him in glowing terms at the AGM so worse comes to worse and Budgie did go down we'd still have the new ruckman, Down and the younger Wundke with maybe Schubert filling in too.

Jimmy, ask what damage is keeping O'Hara out at present

Its cartlidge or ligament damage, not a jar'red knee as i was first told, does he need a knee reco "Not at This Stage", and yes Ian , the hopes are he may be ready by round 1 or after best result and if this is not correct, Why is he out at present?????, does he have a cold or does he have knee damage????

Slight knee strain, resting it for Rd 1.
