I can also say with a certain degree of confidence that come business end of the minor round, they will again be in the mix to claim a top three berth and the invaluable double chance.
Why some of you may ask? Well for one I have a lot of faith in Rick and his coaching staff to take the experience of 2007 and make the necessary adjustments. Secondly, In McGlone, Perrie & Cubillo we have three very exciting recruits coupled with the fact Coad and Hurley will return after season ending injuries to add to the quality AND depth of the club.
'In all honesty' I see a potential weakness in the ruck division if Feast has niggling injuries that players of his vintage tend to get, but at the same time I have faith in the likes of Kurtze & Martin to do a job there. Our midfield looks amongst the best in the competition and if the forward line fires (and big Sarge fits in) then that has to be the most daunting frontline in the competition also. The addition of Cubillo to our defensive set up, plus the continual improvement from Gregory and Co means we will have a pretty soild back six.
Honest enough for all?

Cubillo left North because North would not guarantee that he would be played in the mid field or on ball, where he feels is his best chance of being noticed by AFL scouts. Sturt gave him the assurance that he will play in his prefered positions.
Cubillo does not want to play in defence.
It will be interesting to see where he does end up playing.

I think our ruck dept is too thin and I reckon our midfield will struggle.
Hope i'm wrong.

None of us backstab him, Ive told him my opinion face to face and full marks to the man he doesn't take it personally nor get defensive, that's hardly stabbing him in the back, its not as though "Wedgie" is an anonymous person amongst the North club either.
I and most others see Jars for his positives and his negatives, unlike some groups we look at it from a balanced point of views, most of us including myself quite often praise him for the positives he brings to the club.
Unlike some supporter groups we just don't see everything through rose coloured glasses. Surely that's a good thing?
