My opinion the league do some good programming but it could be a lot better.
They have to keep being inivative which to their credit they are with night football at Elizibeth. I guess trialling double headers on Saturdays which hasnt been done since the 80's (correct me if im wrong) is inavative. The last few seasons friday night football has become a bit stale so good on them for trying new things.
Well done on the encounter bay game because they got 1000 more people than what would have turned up had it been at Noarlunga.
On to the negative side now. I just can't believe You wouldnt give Easter Monday a go. The WAFL are doing it. I can't believe you wouldn't try Good Friday as their is no AFL on that day. What was wrong with Easter thurday like last season? Why give 3 of the strongest supporter bases a bye on a weekend where experimentation should be a high priority?
Food for thought- What about an Anzac Day double header where the rematch is the late game? Mabee you could give South, West or even Glenelg an opportunity to show what they are made of crowd wise. They wouldn't be humiliated because you are always going to get a decent crowd for the rematch on Anzac Day anyway.
I think sunday games have shown themselves to be the best crowd pullers in recent times.
To those of you who critisized no Easter Sunday this year the reason was obvious because the CRows and Port both played that day.
I think I will start a topic on Flexible programming ie. changing the days of games to encourage bigger crowds.

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?
