From this point on.....1975...the Bays lost a truckload of GF's to us in 1982 but mainly to Port. Sadly it was always someone else's fault...not their own fault...hence the Squeeler tag !

I'd believe you SDK if you got your facts right.....um we lost in '74 too

(Thought I'd better get in first before the blue rinse set do.....)

I'd appreciate if you can give a run down on the excuses IIRC there were no excuses offered in 81, 82 or 87 when we lost pretty convincingly. In '81 I'd concede we muttered about Granger on Caldwell but hell that doesn't cover up a nine goal loss. We only blame ourselves for 77 (not keeping Holst on Ebert) and 88 and 92 well weren't the 2nd best team in the should've have been Norwood and the Eagles respectively in those GFs. In 87 and 88 were fortunate to run into Norwood teams that had playing contracts that ended on September 30

1990 doesn't exist but as I've always said the best team won that day not the best side...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Umm, 1990 did exist Tassie, sorry about your amnesia.

Was a good win for Port that day, it definitely happened, i was there that day, surprised you can't remember. I think it may have been your mob that Port beat actually, so really cant work out why you cant remember, or why you think that day didn't exist.

3 in a row 8)

Well done Tas! The first step on the road to recovery is to admit that you have a problem. Problem #1, just which problem do you start with first? :D
