Dutchy's got the point and PAFC missed it, the AFL counts Season Ticket Holders as members.
Membership of clubs like we have in the SANFL is regarded as social club membership or something similar by AFL clubs.

The Hawthorn website sates the club has 20,684 members. Wouldve thought that this was a fair number for this time of the year??

Well the Hawks havent had a huge couple of weeks...only up to 22,263
