They obviously have a good system down at Elizabeth,and they know how to produce players capable of playing hard consistent football.Roy Laird in my opinion is the best coach in the SANFL with an outstanding record,and he must have the total respect of the players. I would think this year with the exit of a few class players (especially Obst and Grima) they may find it harder.
In my opinion if Roy can guide them to the top, or around the mark,(and this season will test him) he should seriously consider taking the next step into the role as an assistant coach at AFL level.I am sure he would have no problem finding a club willing to take him.
