I never thought I'd read a sentence that included the words 'Doug Robertson', 'opinion' and 'flair' :)

This religious nutter on before Total SANFL is one scary human being. Apparently nazi germany will bring about the return of Jesus Christ, who will bring back peace forever. ******* weirdo.

Oh ****, now they're flogging off 'literature' about how modern day politics fits in with bible prophecy.

Wedgie reasesses his opinion that the Bays will be bottom in 2006 and wait's for Tassie to say I told you so

Easy quiz question this week:

"Which Port Magarey Medalist finished off his career with Glenelg in the 80s?"

Clue on the show: "Police force"
Even easier clue on safooty.net: "His initials are PW"

PS Good show today, enjoyed it more than last week, Todd's definately an IN with Zac as an OUT. Very informative and entertaining, seemed to flow better and quicker than last week despite having one less game to talk about.

Well I've said from day one we won't finish last but finals participation is a long way off, two weeks time gives us an opportunity to see where we are really at.

Good show again today. I must admit my reception is pretty good too. Cheers C31!

I find myself trailing off after 15-20 minutes of the programme. I think it needs a few different segments just to change the format up a bit. The match analysis is generally very good, but my attention span isn't good enough to last through all of it. Perhaps some of the ABC video footage of matches could be included during the match analysis.

Also can we have some match statistics on the screen in addition to the scores? A list of goal kickers, crowd and perhaps the 3 possession leaders for each side would be great. Just on the match scores, I don't know about this week, but I saw last week that the on screen template did not have enough contrast between the text and background. For most of us with poor C31 reception, this renders the text virtually unreadable.

Those are just a few of my suggestions on what is a solid programme, keep up the great work guys.

Good suggestion re stats, goal scorers, etc I was thinking of the same thing myself, perhaps a display for the player of the year and votes awarded each round too, I assume they can do it as they have the occasional display up showing scores or other things last week.

Good ideas there, many of which are being worked through already. As we settle into a routine, more things will continue to be added, such as "Fan On The Hill", and running tallies of the Player of The Year Award (at this point, James Gallagher and Jeremy Clayton lead on 6 votes, from Justin McConnell on 4).

For the first couple of weeks, we have been building the format gradually, so as not to "overwhelm" people straight away, but you will start noticing some more changes coming in over the next few weeks. Guests on the show will also become more frequent, and some of the upcoming "Step Back In Time" guests (held over this week) will also set people's memories ticking over!

Don't forget "SANFL Insight" at 8.30pm Tuesday night, where a number of topics of the SANFL are discussed. This week's include the possibility of the NT joining, increasing incentives for attracting the next generation of fans to the SANFL and whether the under-age competition should be restructured.

Thanks again for the feedback - we DO take notice of it and are interested to hear your views. Feel free to email us at mailto:totalsanfl31@hotmail.com at any time also. I will be covering North v Sturt this Friday night, so also feel free to have a yarn with me there, or at any game!

Cheers

So is it a plane or train that passes by near the half-way mark of each episode? :P

Plane, I think they're based at Torrensville or around there.

The studios are just behind the West End Brewery.

Yes, it is a plane you can hear there - ca is right, we are just behind West End, so I'd assume its the 8.45 from Melbourne going over

This week's show will feature the Eagles Mark Passador as guest, so don't forget to join us for the most comprehensive look at Round 4 of the SANFL!
