went 3-1 today but only broke even as the one I lost (SAS) was my biggest bet of the day...

Lads are you aware of the Back to Back Blues (B2BB) punting system in the NBA? It has shown a profit over the seasons for at least the last 5 years.

Basically its backing a rested home dog playing a favourite that played the night before, the dog must be rested though and not played the night before and must be playing at home (no travel), and the fav must have played the night before and have travelled, there is sometimes only once or twice a week this occurs but its amaxing how many times it hits....some bet the moneyline but I prefer to take the dog ATS...both ways have made profits consistently over the years

Today Seattle +5.0 was the play as they didnt play yesterday and were home to the Lakers who travelled there after playing yesterday....game went to OT and Lakers pulled off the win by 2, but I wont with the 5 point cover  if I see them Ill post the plays here to track it....so far on the ML the system is showing a 30% ROI

Bad day today on the NBA - but can't have that knock us down... I won't be having a bet on it tomorrow - but will pick one out over the next week or so....

Re the System....
I haven't kept records, but love to back teams with the rest v the better teams in any American sport (NHL / NBA / MLB) that have backed up either the night before or their 5th road game in 7 or 8 days... especially if they go from playing a high ranked team to a low ranked team (Detroit v New York the other day is another one) - but I prefer to take at the line and have a second go at it....

Washington v New York - with NY at $2.15 - not a lot of value.... esp given there is likely to be a let down from both teams coming off good wins for both of them... thought the line of 192 was a little high though given that....

Dutchy - I hope you can show us your workings though, from what i've read on here tonight if you don't MAL will be after you

Yep Knicks are a B2BB play tomorrow, can get 2.5 points in, good enough for me....

agree SCD I like the under in that game also, 192 is way too high IMO...and yes I better keep accurate records with Mal lurking!

tell me about it!, i was sweating that game and lost the teaser by a point :( also backer GSW -7.5, they won by 7 after being up by 12 with a minute to play...

B2BB works a treat again though, also went 4-0 in the NCAA today so made a profit 8)

MIA are 3 point favs so no B2BB play there....got matched on my under 196.5 in the NOH/SEA game but line has gone the other way and can now get 199  CHA +2.0 and the under are my only plays for today

Also this is a guy I tail from a US forum, he is the best NBA punter Ive seen and makes a profit every year...he has 3 plays today

YTD 66-47, 58%, +25.05 Units

Took the last several days off after a brutal week. Do not know the exact numbers, but I think somewhere around 2-7 in my L9. Nothing I really liked the last few days, but I am back for tonight. Have one play that I am sure I will be basked for. Don't care. I will post what I play. Three plays for tonight, get ready to bash.....

Miami Heat ML -1.60 2 Units

I am sure this may be looked at as a "homer call", but it is simply a play I believe will win. The Bulls are a team that is a mess right now. Hinrich and Nocioni are dinged up. Both are question marks for tonight, but it seems that Hinrich will miss the game. Deng is still coming off an injury. Everyone knows about the players voting to suspend Noah. Now last night some of the players were seen laughing on the bench as they were getting their asses kicked by the Magic. This team is a mess. The Heat have not been much better, however they are the healthiest they have been in a long time. They will get Shaq back tonight. Jason Williams has been put back into the starting lineup. The team has had 4 days to rest and prepare for this game tonight. I have had this one circled ever since the Heat got swept out of last year's playoffs by these same Bulls. I think the Heat get some revenge tonight. Heat should snap their 10 game skid and get a much needed win.

Sacramento Kings +4.5 2 Units

Sacramento gets to full strength tonight with the return of both Artest and Bibby. K Mart came back last game and played great, scoring 39 points on 14-16 shooting. Like the fact that the Kings catch the Raps on the second game of a back to back, after facing Detroit last night. I think the Kings keep this one close throughout. Would not be surprised at all to see the outright win. Give me the points.

Atlanta/Milwaukee Over 191.5 2 Units

Atlanta's offense has looked good the last two times out, putting up over 100 in each game. It should not slow down now, as they go up against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Bucks rank 28th in the NBA in defensive FG%, allowing 47% shooting and close to 101 ppg. As far as the Bucks go, they should be able to put up some points as well. Redd is back in the starting lineup, which should boost their offensive productivity. 5 of the last 6 meetings between these two has seen the winner reach 100+ points with the loser not too far behind. That is the result I am looking for tonight. I think we will get it.

That's all for tonight. Best of luck fellas!

Let the Heat bashing begin....

501 Cleveland Cavaliers +8.0 1.935 O: 183.5 1.935
502 @ San Antonio Spurs -8.0 1.935 U: 183.5 1.935

503 Utah Jazz +3.5 1.935 O: 220.5 1.935
504 @ Denver Nuggets -3.5 1.935 U: 220.5 1.935

505 Phoenix Suns -2.0 1.935 O: 226 1.935
506 @ LA Lakers +2.0 1.935 U: 226 1.935

Early lines for tomorrows games (I love how IAS put these up so early)

Utah +3.5 seems good to me, they are too good a team not to start performing on the road

Clevland + San Antonio coming of 2 and 3 day breaks and San Antonio shot very poor on monday @ under 40%, expect the game score over 180.5 here

Utah looking at tightening up a 105ppg avg on the road against a team that loves to score freely and have gone 8-3 since December at home, avg 106 point per game.. 220.5 line is too high here and i'll take the under

LA really strugglred b2b against Seattle and missing their centre Bynum for the next 2 months will put a dent in their rebounding ability + scoring ability. the 123 - 121 v Seattle was due to overtime Koby Bryant scoring 48 points... Just feel that on the road Phoenix are 7 -5 since December and average 108 points, but have only avg 101 their last 8 road games, including 5 losses and their 2 lowest scores of the year - take the under 226.5 here

Multi is 50 @ $6.85

Clev / SA over 180.5
Utah / Den under 220.5
LA / Phoenix under 226.5
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined
