How are Old Iggies looking in 2008?

Apparently iggs look strong.. still holding on to calabrese, rolfe, tyson & frinsdorf despite massive$$ offers from other div 1 & 2 clubs.

A couple handy youngsters from the college also apparently. If the can stay injury free should be a good year for them.

Not sure if there is any truth to Packham going to EP but I have heard that rumour too. I would say they will be top three along with Kashburn and Flinders (don't ask me the order) so it might be a good place to sign.

hey boozehound you seem to be in the know out there at Ep? How is Donnelly doing?? I know that if he gets atleast half fit he should kick shite loads of goals in div3 !

i have heard that that Flinders Park have signed Matt Kluzek and a number of other players. as well as Sean Jackson as coach. It will make them a solid out fit this year.

Someone told me on the weekend Greg Dempsey (Gepps) has signed there too.

Don't really know too much about EP but have some contacts there. Can't help you sorry LF.

on the div2 thread footynut says that scotch have confirmed kluzek and probably his brother are playing there!

care to shed any light on this schimma?? do you know for sure they've signed at flinders??

Just confirmed Kluzek definately playing at Flinders, signed, sealed and delivered.

Can't confirm the Dempsey rumour but he did play under Jackson at Gepps Cross and Jackson loved him so could be true. Gun footballer although getting on a bit and injury prone.

Dempsey is a gun player and if it is true he will be at Flinders this season he should be a standout as long as he does stay injury free

I was talking to the B Grade coach tonight at training and he said he is very much looking forward to having Donnelly in his team this year. Haha
