I hear the Advertiser has a few exclusive specials this week

MONDAY: David Hicks went to McDonalds and ordered drive-thru
TUESDAY: Stayed home and watch 'terrorist' DVD's - later revealed to be Hairsrpay dubbed in Arabic
WEDNESDAY: David Hicks reports to Centrelink
THURSDAY: David Hicks does the food shopping
FRIDAY: Seen at home decanting the dipping sauce and washing his hair
SATURDAY: Feature story with all the lowdown on investigating Hicks including
- How many rubbish bins rummaged per day
- How many times the journos knocked on Hicks door
- How many hours spent outside Hicks place in the car eating donuts and reading Womans Day
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Agree Bruce and agree with your logic, but at least Hicks did
something uncommon to make front page headlines.

The "gossip" column on the inside back page mentions that David Hicks was spotted at the movies this week. WTF??? How is this newsworthy? He is out of jail and if he wants to go to the movies, big deal!

The page 1 article and the piece inside illustrated once again just how far this "newspaper" has sunk. This is not news. It's gutter, voyeuristic journalism at its worst. Interesting, though, that Chad has commented on it - if he is charged with an offence, isn't commenting on it technically subjudice?

One more gripe on the paper - the column on the back page of the Sports column with Scott Walsh and Ben Hook "having a drink" today was utter, complete garbage at its worst also. Given that its fairly common knowledge Mr Hook does a fair bit of research straight off this site, its likely he'll read this - some of the stuff written in today's column is gutter at its worst also. There is little funny in referring to "monkey's uncle", "scaring the pooper out of the sheep shaggers" or calling India the "most pathetic cricketing nation going around". Utter trash, most of it.

Is Chad trying to boost daddy's ratings???

I'll bet there will be quite a few tuning in to the show hoping to hear him laying into anyone that dares to phones and make a negative comment.

Should it have read 'AFL Hack hit me' ?
......and it was on page 17, a single column which didn't get halfway down the page.

Agreed, if he was from the team that won the Grand Final by 119pts and not lost it by that amount he'd have claim to that status. :D

Now Wedgie, don't start on Geelong's superior skills.
They've got their own soapie at Cat Park with the Ablett's.
Funny their paper is also called the Advertiser ;)
