Mind you, no other club has. :D

We might of if Mummbles wasnt so stubborn !!!

Don't know about being as dominant but yes, do agree Mummbles cost the Crows a flag.
Still shake my head in disbelief that he took Hodges off in the 93 Prelim, I was right behind the goals at that game and the amount of great work Scott was doing in creating room for Modra and doing other 1 percenters was incredible.
Cornes was either extremely vindictive or had no idea. Still not sure which one.
Mind you, Jarman missing from 5 metres out didn't help either, not even I could blame mummbles for that one!

Thought it was McLeod who cleaned up Harvey (fairly).

Dunstall may have played in a better team, but was very unselfish, so his stats could read a lot better.

Hmm, my spidey sense is tingling here. I remember Dunstall as the ultimate goal kicking robot. Lead, chest mark, goal. I would be interested to see his goal assist and handpass stats in comparision to other top forwards. I'm tipping that he didn't give away the same amount of goals that represented the difference between Hawthorn and St Kilda's forward line output of the late 1980's when the Hawks ruled supreme and the Saints were a joke.

I beg to disagree! [-X

They were crap in the early '80s as well!
(Spoons in '83,'84,'85 & '86).

And BTW, why do I get poo-pooed when I state the bleeding obvious about my
EX-team being shyte, while others (REB :-" ) get off relatively scott-free when
they reiterate what I say. :-k

Thought it was McLeod also who slung him to the ground quite heavily in a tackle which seemed to knock the wind out of his sails a bit

Secondly, Do you keep buying a product when you know its faulty?
I don't buy something which I know is crap so why should I support a club
which I know is crap. ](*,)
Thirdly,I can't turn any of my coats because the inner linings are effed up.
Anyone know how much a tailor charges to get the pockets and lining fixed? :-s

Guys Harvey gets my nod BIG time. He is the best on baller/ player I've ever seen his ball gathering capabilities and evasion skills were second to none (freakish) I've ever seen. He turned matches consistently for the Saints 1 that springs to mind was when Buddha Hocking ran thru him with a cheap shot at Skilled Stadium Harvey had to to taken off by trainers come back on kicked 4 goals in the last quarter Saints win thanks for coming. Harvey magnificent! Also don't think I've ever seen a poor game from the champion.

no disrespect to Hird a very good player guys its a no contest in my opinion. Totally agree with you Bucks

Lockett vs Dunstall Lockett easily kicked more goals even when playing for struggling teams again no contest.

P.S check Harvey stats for the 97 GF 38 possessions I think

Ha ha LOL Nice work 66. Did you stop buying Strut when they bagged all of those spoons in a row in the 1990's or did you walk back into the shop when the light blue suddenly became fashionable again in 2002? IMO, dropping YOUR football club just because they can't win a chook raffle forfiets any credibility you might have when the time comes to bagging the club that I have stuck by for decades. In 2006, my club was crap and I predictably carried on like a pork chop. If I sixty-sixed them I would have gotten a lot less joy out of my favourite sport than I did when the tide inevitably turned after Round 5 (and yet another REB dummy spit) last year. Your club, right or wrong.

I guess we just aren't cut from the same cloth.

No I didn't jump ship when Sturt were crap.
I rode the Davies/Trigg/Higgins/Bunton era of greatness just like the minority of Sturt fans.
Simple maths; Sturt 13 flags, STK 1.
Which tells me that Sturt have had success, planned for success & therefore WANTED success.
STK has done nothing of the sort in 130+ years and don't look like it anytime in the future.
STK, as business by offering a faulty product, will not be getting anymore of my money.
STK, as an emotional investment, by giving me nothing more than embaraasment & humiliation, will not be able to abuse me(sounds harsh but thats how I feel) again.

Dude, that's like comparing Sturt's record with Port Districts.

I rode the bandwagon of misery too. I recall going out to Murray Bridge to cheer us on mid slump (the million years it seemed) and seeing us getting belted. Worth the drive though. Well sort of...
