For Glenelg

last year our "in" was hope and despair was our "out"

for 2008 our "in" is expectation and hope is our "out"
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

With the acquisition of Sarg, we look to have an extremely dynamic Forward line-up.

Go Sturt! :)

This is a worry. :(

Clarrie will be a happy man!!!!

Contrary to popular opinion Southee, I would actually like to see you do well.

A Sturt/South GF would be my dream. (It would also be possible to play such a game at Unley Oval with the likely crowd!)

I'm not sure Sarge and the word dynamic belong in the same sentence...

SANFL R.I.P.
When it was a real comp I had passion.
The talk preseason was dominated by which junior would get a promotion from the previous year.
These days I have lost the passion.
I still love watching all the teams play but I cant get too parochial these days.
The talk these days is which recruits the teams are getting.[as per this thread]

No doubt the usual retaliaters will post

clubs are always (well most anyway) looking for that middle ground junior who will star or be a very good sanfl player but not make afl. those are the ones clubs need to hang on to and not lose to the $$$ in the country.

im hoping sturt have those players next year to go along with our aging stars, vets and gun recruits!!!

not all clubs are good at identifying talent, or the talent hasnt liked the environment, see south and west as the most obvious there.
