Mate, that is just rediculous maybe you should stay true to your name and not say anything at all. I think you'll find that the image bestowed upon North Haven, and that is our name "NORTH" Haven, has been created by everyone and anyone that does not have an ounce of anything to with the club. The amounts of money being banded around that everyone thinks we have is utter crap, yes some players get paid because were not happy to sit in div 4 for the rest of the clubs history. Truth of the matter is that to get quality footballers into a lower Div a little carrot is a nice incentive. No one would come from a higher division to any club in div 4 based on name and reputation. If anyone says that their club doesn't pay anyone at there club in DIV 4 they are kidding themselves there's always a couple at least. There wouldn't be one North Haven player talking the club up in any pub on the peninsula A. because we haven't warranted it and B. because everyone else wants to do it for us.

Sorry to disappoint you ouzo, but nobody got paid at Salisbury last year. And I don't mean nobody as in one or two, I mean not one player got paid a cent.

$50 cash for BOG, $40 cash for 2nd, $30 cash for 3rd, 4th gets $20 bar voucher, 5th gets $15 bar voucher, 6th gets $10 bar voucher, sometimes with a Mawson Lakes Hotel voucher subbed in somewhere. Not sure how that compares to other clubs?

If there's any bonuses for performances besides these I didn't see any during the year...

Ingle farm shouldn't of paid anyone. Their best player was 61 years old. Any I refuse to believe Salisbury Payments.

You can refuse all you like, Salisbury has neither the cash nor the culture to pay players. I'd believe Pag, given he won the A grade B&F this season he'd be well aware of the payments going around the place.

Why do you think that ?
I think you will find Salisbury have lost their fair share of blokes to other clubs for $$$ over the years.
My perception of Salisbury FC is that the guys there seem to love the place.(This is an outsiders point of view) They have strong juniors, and strong senior teams. Maybe they dont need to pay blokes to stay there.
Superboot, i reckon both of our clubs could learn something from them.

Geez, i cant believe im saying this stuff :vom: .....

i second that, i probably would have more knowledge of payments, if there was any, than pag.
sorry pag, just have to make it loud and clear that salisbury dont pay any players and you can win a flag doing it..... players play for their mates and the love of the game...
we probably would if we could, but we cant and i dont think its a bad thing, especially all those greedy, unloyal pr!cks that go around playing clubs off against one another.
it showed the other night..... first training session had 41 players in attendance....

Salisbury dont pay anyone through the club, but they do pay players indirectly.
