Brisbane Lions Supporters Group - SA

Hey Everyone

Im trying to start a brisbane lions supporters group up in Adelaide - my goal is to get it going by Round 4 against Richmond or Round 5 game vs West Coast. Ive been trying for a while but now is the perfect example of when opportunity meets desire.

My first aim is to get a core group together to get ideas or how to start and what would work and to find out how many lions fans in Adelaide we do have. So far its myself and a lions fan from work.

I spoke to the club and the guy there said that we have to create the group before we can come to them and get them on our side. He didnt say what numbers we needed though so the more the merrier.

If anyone who lives in Adelaide who wants to either help out or just to let us know that you will be a memeber if we can create the group, please feel free to e-mail or PM me. If you dont live in Adelaide but know some Lions supporters that do please could you pass the details on thanks.

Just a suggestion, you can have one of your first meetings at Resthaven Westbourne Park but the residents might not be too happy when they have to give up their seats for Vossy, Black and the rest of your midfield heh heh.

Sound like a good idea, i am a Brisbane supporter, had one of the first armchair memberships in Adelaide back in about 97 I think. It wouldnt be a bad idea to meet a few like wise people to watch a game or two during the year.
