There can never be enough, apparently.

Stiffing your own kids, Dad’s business partners and anyone else is par for the course in Gina’s world.

Who mowed my front lawn this arvo? Around 2pm I heard a lawnmower out the front, I presumed it was for the small park across the road where the council contractors come ever 2-3 weeks. Went out to move a car later today to find my lawn nicely trimmed!

It was pretty long as I haven't been able to get to it with my knee op, was hoping I would be OK to do it later in the week.

My neighbour sometimes does my edging for me so I looked over to his lawn and no he hadn't been out there today.

My only guess is someone in the street hired someone and they got the wrong house, our street goes up in 1's not 2's (eg we are 22 and our neighbours are 21 & 23) so that does catch some delivery guys out.

Be careful mowing lawns. Many moons ago, I mowed lawns after an arthroscope. Felt a million bucks, but afterwards one of the scope holes bled a little.

Woke the next morning in agony, ended up with a staph infection, DVT and other blood clots, early stage compartment syndrome and had 3 months off work.

The pulse in my knee the morning of was what woke me up, never felt pain like it. Had to be on blood thinners for a couple of operations after that, that's fun self dosing, needles in the stomach for two weeks.

Happy to confirm it wasn't me.

Coming home from Quorn one year and Mrs Boon calls, answer on hands free and she says "I've just mowed the lawn, thought it would save you doing it tomorrow"

"Who is this and what have you done with my wife?"

PS - If you had a camera you'd be able to see.

THE PULSING!!!!! Mine was a little sore in the car on the way home from watching my club at Golden Grove. Assisted into the clubrooms. Couldn't get off the chair (had a steak dinner from the canteen), got a stretcher to my mums' car. Got admitted straight away (as i had surgery a week prior) They gave me all the pain relief i was allowed (zero relief), orally, injection and they said there was one more i could have, my mum walked outside the curtain laughing and they said suppository. Prior to this happening i asked the nurses name and as this has never happened before. So, i will always share that horror with Lisa. Best pain relief i ever had.

I was at home with a heavy pregnant wife when it woke me up about 5 or 6 in the morning.

Tried to get up, couldn't. Couldn't weight bear at all, even trying to put my foot on the floor was excruciating. Got in to see the doc, he refused to let me leave, went in for ultrasound and admission to the hospital. Worst part was getting it drained daily for a week once I got out. The colour and smell of the stuff coming out of my knee was beyond gross.

On the plus side, I became a guru at Simpsons Hit & Run during my convalescence
