Today should give a bit more idea about where some sides sit. 4 of the games could go either way based on round 1.

Yank vs Compass. I’m going Compass.

Creek vs Victor. which players take the field will be the big question here. [emoji170]says Victor.

GPE vs Bays. [emoji2369]
McLaren vs Pongy [emoji2369]

Willunga vs Strath dees by plenty.

Round 2 saw just the 1 upset that being Creeks over Victor by 50 points
Victor fired out of the blocks to lead Creek 5 goals to 1 but from that point on it was all the Hawks as they piled on 16 of the next 18 goals

The match of the day saw McLaren comfortably leading Myp/Sel most of the day before the Mudlarks hit the front in the last term but couldn't quite sustain it to see McLaren hang on by 14 points

Yankalilla at home seemed in control at half time being 5 goals up against Compass. The Bulldogs came out a different team in the 2nd half to over run the Tigers who could add just a paltry 1 2nd half goal to go down by 12 points

Willunga walloped Strath who are in a world of pain

GPE returned to their old ways after a promising 1st up effort against Creeks. E Bay home easily by 94 points.

Big game coming up next week for Victor against the Bays.

Putting 2 and 2 together it looks like it was "comedian" (very loosely) who posted something on insta (now deleted). Looking on PlayHQ he has played a couple of games in ressies this year for them.

Looks like the GSFL will be the least of his issues

Nick Mitzithras rumoured to be joining Goolwa/Pt Elliot in time for this week's game.
Could be a very handy pick-up for them but it seems they may need a bit more than that

I was thinking it would be horrible timing if you missed this week due to an injury.
