Plenty of rain down the South East yesterday

Coming home this morning, thick fog basically from the Mount to Kingston, followed by lovely sunny weather up to Meningie, then the rain albeit light returned all the way to the Freeway and then fog again.

I drive many roads around Australia and this would rate one of the worse roads ever.

Was going to go the longer way but it was wrongly reported that Dukes Highway was closed due to a huge fuel spillage

My in-laws used to live in Kingston, couldn’t tell you how many times we did that trip over a 15 year period. Emus, wombats, roos, deer, snakes, kids throwing up, dogs throwing up. The worst 2 hours on the road ever.

Been alot of work on the Barrier Highway, is quite good these days, pretty well resurfaced from Hallett to Oodla Wirra

And not before time, either, I'm headed up that way in a couple of months.

Currently is quite good, creeks running wildly but i see your point, not much to look at
