Looking at the radar it looks like most is missing Adelaide and going into the sea. Hopefully might help the algae bloom

Getting enough here at Largs North at the moment though, mowed my lawns on Tuesday and Wednesday then put Soil Wetter on my Lawns Thursday in preparation for this rain and I'm not disappointed, saves me a drive to Hawthorndene for cricket today aswell.

Side note on the Algae Boom, as a regular beach goer as I love going in the cold sea water for recovery I have avoided the beach because of the Algae Boom since it was announced because I have had a lifelong battle with bad skin/skin issues and didn't want to have an problems if I did go in the water with the Algae Boom going on. I went to the beach and into the water on Wednesday and Thursday morning after dropping my kids off at childcare (in my last week of parental leave) and it was fine, was nice to get back out there.

It’s always high humidity when it rains :-s

At around 20 degrees and gentle continuous rain, it’s quite nice. :D

How the models work is beyond me, six of many I looked at had Adelaide getting 60-150mm from Friday to Wednesday.

We've had 2.8mm here since I got up at 8ish.

Tomorrow was always more likely than today to produce so it's not over.

had a big downpour and thunderstorm around 5am which lasted probably half hour.

Then some steady rain on and off in the morning, been nothing but drizzle this afternoon

I watch some global projection pages, they all had similar mapping from Wednesday.

Just short of an inch of rain here at my house over the last 24 hours. Pleasing to see large parts of the State that really need it getting a decent drenching. Clearly need more in coming weeks but it’s at least a good start. Hopefully the grape growers didn’t get too much as it would be a complete disaster.
