Crap rules, he caught the ball cleanly, had it for about four seconds as he slid before it touched the ground.

Spud and Dwarshuis will either win it or lose it for them in the first 8 overs

Who will pay $150m for a BBL franchise other than some Saudi oil baron or Indian mega millionaire and sign our biggest names to binding contracts that have them playing for franchises all over the world on the whim of the owner?
Will be a disaster.
Will be a disaster.

I don't really care about them having to play for other teams around the world. If they get contracted and are taken to all parts of the globe at the expense of test cricket, then I will be up in arms!

When the Sheik pays them 5x what Cricket Australia do where do you think they'll go?

Don't the State associations hold the franchise licences for the BBL sides?Booney wrote:Who will pay $150m for a BBL franchise other than some Saudi oil baron or Indian mega millionaire and sign our biggest names to binding contracts that have them playing for franchises all over the world on the whim of the owner?

Would reduce the financial strain on the national body who are cutting costs everywhere except their payroll!

Don't be so sarcastic, Maddison scored 128 runs @ 32 and Wadia scored 52 runs @ almost 9, took two wickets at 45 as well.
