Nielsen dropped after being schooled by the debutant on Sunday.

Sangha back in Harvey Keeping

I’d get Handscombe in as at least he can bat whilst not really a T20 batsman
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

A timely hundred for Marsh tonight with the Australian T20 World Cup squad named today- Mitchell Marsh (c), Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Cameron Green, Nathan Ellis, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa.

https://www.cricket.com.au/news/4426337

Marsh and Hardie put on 164, the second highest BBL partnership ever and the highest partnership for the third wicket or lower in the BBL.
The Scorchers 149 in the last 10 overs the most by any team in the last 10 overs in a BBL innings.
And Marsh is the second player to score a T20 hundred on New Years Day, Mark Chapman was the first scoring 101 for Auckland v Canterbury in 2018

I don't believe this is correct.

Wildermuth and Renshaw put on 212 the other night, and when they did it, they went past Stoinis and Cartright (207) and Wade and Short (202 - i think).

Perhaps it was the second highest BBL partnership for the Scorchers?

Not many players play all 3 formats for Australia, I’d rather him be mentally right for our country and return to representing the state when he’s winding down his career.

None of us would know of the vigours and commitment it takes to play for our country, it would have to be taxing, even when they play a two day test match it doesn’t mean he can go home for a few days and chill out.

Yeah I’m disappointed but can also understand, he is a person and does have a life off the ground, he’s obviously trying to set up a life after cricket as the big money stops then.

Very high chance that he's been told to rest. Ronnie and co are just not going to publicly announce it.

Carey only a first choice player in Red ball matches so naturally available for SA more...

Heater and LM talking sense, looking at the fixture Head would probably only play two or three games for the Strikers this BBL after the Sydney test if he was going to play, I doubt he'd play against the Hurricanes on Jan 9th (the day after day five of the Sydney Test) then the Strikers play the Scorchers on Jan 11th, the Stars on Jan 13th and then the Renegades on Jan 17th.

At my first ever BBL game tonight thanks to getting some last minute free tickets from someone at work. Most exciting thing so far has been the half time show. Good crowd. Lots of families. Great for getting kids involved and interested in cricket. The heat look to be blooding some good young quicks. Overall a bit of a snooze fest for this cricket lover

Pretty exciting win by the Heat though in the end, they looked like they would lose being 6/136 after 16 overs and needing 60 from the last 4 overs until Byrant turned it on to win it.

Yeah it was a good finish. Some good clean hitting. 20/20 is a Shocking game to be a bowler in. That said Kuhnemann bowled a quality 4 overs
