Just use Head and Webster
Don’t need to bring in a spinner

He did say they’d push him to play while the series was alive then call it quits as soon as the series was dead

There’s been some footage of Duckett from Noosa where he is as pissed as a parrot. :)

It’s a metaphor for Bazball and the entire English tour so far

Go out and trust your instincts and make decisions without fear of failure but this time it’s off the field

Talk about failing to pick the situation of the series and going out and making a piss (pum intended) poor decision that leads to a poor outcome.

When you combine this with only one test player rocking up at 6:45 to do the fitness session with the S&C coach and no one willing to do Stokes 12 km run up Mt Noosa and you’ve got a team that doesn’t want to do the hard yards
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Heart string or grit and determination nerve?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Has a side strain, not sure when he injured it, but if during the match then it explains why he was bowling in the 130’s instead of express in the 2nd dig.

Couldn’t fault his efforts in Adelaide, shame he couldn’t finish the tour.

In the Cricket.com.au and Cricinfo articles I read about Archer's injury it said he suffered the side strain during the Adelaide test and had a scan on it in Melbourne today. He will return to the UK next week to be assessed.

The English pace attack was hyped up big time before the series and now we have Archer injured, Wood injured and out after one game, Atkinson has already been dropped once and Carse is the most expensive bowler of the series going at 5.08 RPO. Throw in the Duckett fiasco and this just keeps getting better for these F**king Coats! They're on their proverbial knees so I bloody hope we don't drop this match to them.

England team for Melbourne- Crawley, Duckett, Bethell, Root, Brook, Stokes (c), Smith (wk), Jacks, Atkinson, Carse, Tongue

There's a potential for rain in Melbourne (0-1mm) on Thursday and Friday but looks like it will be cold! Top of 17 for both days forecast, the Poms will feel right at home.

Who could possibly have predicted Archer and Wood would not get thru the series

It’s alright to bowl 150 km/hr for 2-3 overs, but never going to last five long Tests in Australia.
