Day 9 & 10
Sleeping is getting a bit ridiculous now. Sleep counter - Wed night 9.30pm - 11.30pm, 2.45am - 3.30am, 4.15am - 5am. Thurs night 2.45am - 5am, 5.45-6.30am. Today, 3.30pm - 4.20pm.
Yesterday, I went to see the physio and he extended the range of motion by a few %, which caused a fair bit of discomfort at the time. He's more than happy with the range of motion but noted that I wasn't able to easily straighten my knee, so worked on that and gave me some exercises to do.
I worked on straightening the knee and lifting the left foot off the ground and both are working. The net result is that because I'm pushing it more and more, it's sore which makes sleeping very very uncomfortable. What I'm consoling myself with is, that the more I push it (within reason), the quicker the recovery. I just don't know when the recovery will end. At the moment, it's really difficult to see the end.
To summarise the last two days, very happy with knee itself - which is keeping me positive about life. The physio exercises are tough but again, I can see improvement already. So good things happening all round!
Knee - feeling great 8/10.
Sleep - horrible! 2/10.
