With the FIBA qualifiers upon us the Boomers are in action against New Zealand Friday night in Hobart from 7pm and again in Wellington on Monday at 4:30pm both games live on ESPN.

In NBL news the Brisbane Bullets have announced the signing of import Terry Taylor to a one-year deal. He's a 6'5" forward who spent five seasons in the NBA with Indiana, Chicago & Sacramento.

Also in ex-NBL news Adelaide lad Lachlan Olbrich has made his NBA debut for the Chicago Bulls registering 2 points and 3 rebounds in the Bulls 103-101 loss to the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The NZ Breakers have announced the signing of Kiwi guard Tai Webster as an injury replacement for Izayah Le'afa who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his foot. Webster returns to the NBL for another stint with the Breakers after playing for the Perth Wildcats last season and then in France.
