So the 2026 "talls" forward line is

Fog, Thilthy and Tex

2027

Fog, Thilty and Marsh?

In the wings - Welsh, Maley, Ludowkye

2028?

I would be shocked if Welsh is still there in 2027.

Two players that I know of that have had their initial 2 year contract downgraded to 1 year and then rookied, would be Riley Grundy and Welsh.

Grundy was never, ever up to anything close to AFL standard, make of that what you will.

Yeah, Welsh would be $1.10 to be delisted.
The Ravens will have a decent size forward line though next season

SPP players get paid $1000 a week to train, plus accommodation and flights. It’s a big gamble if you have to quit a job.

Or just trying to earn the trust of the playing group back and accepting he cant be captain after the off season.

In all seriousness, it's probably not that different of a conversation given to a veteran player, giving them the opportunity to retire, rather than being delisted.

Is he elite by foot, then no but he is more than serviceable and I’d argue on par or better than most of the others in the draft. Duursma went at 1 and his kicking is probably only on level with Sharp
