We were there for Dane Ripper, Might And Power, both of Sunline’s wins & Northerly. Good times…
Anyways, back to the present & I like one today which at $18 looks massive overs, Warrnambool R6 # 7 - Hay Joe. Hasn’t been far off of late & with an ounce of luck can be in the finish.

Thank you very much. I got 16s but happy with that even though it ended up paying 26'sSpargo wrote:I have wonderful memories of The Valley. Pre marriage & kids a group of us school mates used to go every year for the Cox Plate.

So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
I am staggered at the $26 starting price. I backed it last night at $12 because I thought that was generous, when I saw the price 5 mins before they jumped, I launched again. I spoke to a mate yesterday who does the Vic form extensively & asked his opinion. His text back last night read “been racing consistently, good draw, if it jumps well, it should get a nice sit. Genuine $8 chance.”
Good luck to those who have an all up going with Billie Bronx.

Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
Put some pre-sale TAB tickets on today. But old dopey me, I had the wrong race. That was ok for the tri's and pick 4's because they instantly rejected as there are no numbers above (about) 16 in race 8, but I've now got 50 on the 14 in R8.... at 61s.
And it wouldn't refund. So I decided after 15 mins of the bar staff being on the phone to the TAB, to forget cancelling it and keep it. Let's hope the old saying of 'never cancel an incorrect bet' comes true.
Go Sir Myka!

Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
But.... it's race 7, so the track will be pretty chopped up by then even if the track is rated as a 7, it could be heavier than that down the straight.JK wrote:Pretty good drainage at Flemington so might not hit the heavy, but kinda hope it does. Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
According to the VRC website track is a soft 6 and surprisingly the rail is out 2 meters. Not sure if that’s water meters or electricity meters.
