Twomey is a key position forward, 6'2" perhaps, a great grab and great kick.........

David played w/- Collingwood late '70s, early '80s.

Seemed to show a bit of potential in 06 when South went all right, but did he do much last year?

Had a good 06 and was talked up as AFL potential. Undersized key forward, could turn into a decent SANFL player. I rate him similar as turning into a Grocke type player.

Alleged signings by WWT:

Nathan TWOMEY - 20yrs 6' 4" 26 matches 27 goals. Last played SA vs PA 5/8/07. It then looks like he was dropped to play in the reserves finals.

James McENTEE - 23yrs 6' 4" 31 matches 32 goals. Last played WWT vs NA Sept 2005. Played all of 2006 in the reserves. Appeared similar situation as Grocke....not in AJs good book.

Jarrad WRIGHT returning home.

I agree with centrecircle legend about our recruiting.

While I think McEntee and Twomey will add to our talls, I think we are pretty settled in this area. Assuming Fuller intends to play Schwarze and Passador up front then I guess McEntee, Twomey and Grocke will be fighting it out for the third tall spot. I don't think either of these three is capable of playing on a flank due to lack of pace.

Jarrad Wright will be a good pick-up but he is more in the mold of a Treeby rather than a prolific ball getter. We really need a decent rover capable of getting 25 possessions each week similar to a Callinan/Allan/Backwell. Also we need a speedy crumbing forward capable of taking the ball when it comes to ground.

Lindsay would have been one of our highest payed players and now he has retired we should have a bit of cash to go looking for some players who will immediately have an impact.
