Glad they are being sensible then
Depends what you define as too much. Can Petracca get you over that next hurdle or do you waste another year with a vastly inferior midfield to the others competing for a flag? Crows obviously believe they can boost the midfield in other ways such as natural improvement of youth

Christian Petracca asked the Crows for an extra year on top of his current 4-year contract, at increased money across the entire deal, which forced the club to reconsider its trade position.
He would have been 35 on expiry and one of Adelaide's highest paid players.

He's really taking that "once in a generation" comment to heart...
Actually don't mind what Melbourne are doing. May as well do it now, wait another 12 months and you are in trouble needing 2-3 years worth of picks to re-build around Tassie. Think this is the last year you would be able to 'bottom out' to get 2-3 years worth

Agreed, don't do a rebuild half-assed like Carlton are doing.
Zak Butters discussed the possibility of a trade home to Victoria with Port who said no pretty quickly, but the Bulldogs have prepared a 1.7 x 8 years offer.

Bloody hell that's a fair deal, I'd be a bit home sick as well seeing that contact sitting in Victoria lol.
What trade capital have the dogs put on the table, would think it would need to be 2 x 1st rounders
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
