No doubt SA Footballer will just come poach this again anyway

F: Dion Doolan (FIT), Blake Pawluk (ROS), Trevor Rigney (OSB)
HF: Daniel Weetra (PH), Jake Martin (HD), Mason Pitt (IF)
W: Steve Peter (IF), Dylan Richardson (FIT), Harrison Kaesler (OSB)
HB: Jesse Colley (BOS), Cam Sandercock (IF), Riley Henriks (STPOS)
B: Beau Furst (ROS), Matt Wanganeen (FIT), Daniel Rusby (FIT)

Ruck: Cam Schutz (HD), Ron Carbine Jnr (FIT), Jordan Wurfel (STPOS)

Int: Matt Hodge (OSB), Brandon James (PH), Darnell Clifton (ROS), Sean Gibbs (STPOS)

Coach: Nathan Rayner (FIT)
Trading in Brayden Fielder (OSB).. Rusby cut.

Saw Rusby in the best against IF on the weekend. Any reservations on the cut?!?

Can’t argue with that. Nobody can watch every game so whoever has been in the best the most is a decent guide, weighted up/down depending on whether it’s for a good team or not. The better the team the more a ‘best player’ means imo.

Having a look through some logs for mids and forwards that could be considered based on ‘best player’ nods:

Mids:
Teasdale (OSB) - 7 BP / 11 Games (maybe didn’t play enough)
Buckerfield (SP) - 7 BP / 17 Games
McLean (Hou) - 6 BP / 16 Games
Babiak (Hou) - 7 BP / 12 Games

Forwards:
Miegel (Luth) - 6 BP / 13 Games (bad team though)
Dawson (Fitz) - 6 BP / 15 Games (how many can you have from one team)
Rosenthal (Fitz) - 6 BP / 17 Games (how many can you have from one team)

Ruck:
Hard to think of anyone but Schulz with Brincat missing most of the season.

Not to say I think the team Bedge put together isn’t worthy! Too many names to fit.

Could easily add some of those lads. Buckerfield is a beauty, and thought Teasdale was pretty good against us early in the year, but didn't feel like he was in the best OSB had to offer

Babiak is an interesting one, he always seems to be in the mix of goals / best, but I've never felt like he's a genuine game changer more just a really solid, consistent and reliable role player.

Miegel - too old, but he still goes alright and is a massively important part of the Luthies.. Dawson isn't bad either, maybe a little soft, but gets around the ground well and takes a good mark.

Rosenthal become Mr fix it swining from forward to back to cover Wanganeen when he's away, and thought he was more influential down back than up forward. Seems to be moving a lot better this year too, body must be in good knick.

Ruck.. genuinely cant say i recall seeing an absolute stand out (except Brincat / Schutz). Tory James (IF) may have been in there if injury hadn't impacted the back half of the season.

Soulsby and Falco from SPOS could come into consideration also.

Seems to be a good spread of players in D6 this year - reflective on the even nature of the competition. Each team seems to have a serious group of top end talent.

Based on PlayHQ. You would have to say Aidan Wills-Dwiar (STPOS) is in the team considering they're sitting second.

16 Games
29 Goals
11 In the best

Solid effort, assuming a Mid/Forward role...

What should of been a good day for the club with 3 wins and much loved member playing his 200th ending on a sour note thanks to ******* pisspots who can't control themselves.

I'm sick of it.. repeat offenders, can **** off for good!

I'm tired of individuals who have ZERO involvement in the club rocking up on a Saturday to drink their own carton of beer, carry on like ****, then go home and leave others to clean up their mess.
Yeh it's piss poor but the same group have been there for years, it will cost ya's again and agian.
Think outside the square, how do they get there.
Why the Farmers have done nothing about it and ended it all is another question, just do it.
You can actually not consume alcholol on a public reserve unless purchased from a liscensed venue, BANG BANG.

In South Australia, there are designated dry areas as part of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997, which sees public areas such as reserves, main shopping precincts, car parks and foreshores remain free from alcohol. Information on dry area legislation.

Chances of Dion Doolan kicking 100 this year?

81 goals, has West Croydon this week - could go large - then has at least 2 finals .

Chances of Trevor Rigney kicking 100 this year?

84 goals, Adelaide Lutheran this week - could go large - then has at least 1 final.

They both get it I hope. Doolan might get it this week. Against his old club, they might kick it to him.

Few of those missing from Fitzroy last week are back this week by the looks.

Am I the only one who finds it weird that a person would take on the role of footy director at one club (Club B), whilst still coaching at another (Club A)?

Conducting interviews + signing players and coaches on somedays, training at another club on other days.

If I was Club A, I think I'd have a few concerns

Depends. If it's Dan Menzel, can't see an issue. If it's local league, however, that'd be a bit problematic
