Mentioned to a work mate last week I had got thru Winter without a sniffle, karma has bitten me on the ass this week

I'm reaching my 3rd week tomorrow, still haven't got my voice back.

Went to yell out at footy training last night and I sounded like a teenage girl shrieking, boys had a good laugh at my expense.

I was sort of working from home, because I was worse in the morning and it wasn't ideal to sit in on our management meeting I would teams it from home and then head in after that.

I was a bit annoyed with another manager in the meeting and was trying to express my disappointment but some words just had no sound

I wish you were my boss, I had shit I had to tend to and locked myself in my office with a sign on the door featuring a red circle with a line through it.

I was out of the contagious stage by then, fell ill on the Wednesday, WFH until the following Wednesday until I went in around 10ish as someone gave notice, I needed them to sign it off before they changed their mind.

Sometimes, just sometimes I have a hunch that when I ordered and then double checked upon receipt of the coffee that they had indeed used lactose free milk.

I can confirm they did not, they did not use lactose free milk.

FFS.

Maybe take back the receipt and a plastic bag with a pair of jocks smeared in nutella and demand a refund....

Opened a letter that I recieved in the mail Friday and it is from Bingle insurance company asking for my insurance details as my car was apparently in an accident in Hallet Cove on Wednesday July 16 while I was at work.

Tried calling them and they wanted my insurance details and they told me what I need to do, a little "I don't need to do f*** all because it wan't my car" went in their direction.

Now I'm awaiting for a member of the apparent "resolution team" to contact me.

From what I gather after speaking to someone off shore, the car was backed into in a shopping centre and the witness gave my rego details, there is apparently a photo too from what I gathered when talking to someone about an important matter that has English as a 5th language, I had to ask her to repeat herself every sentence at least once.

i would just give them your insurance details and let it go to an external investigation beteween the two companies, simply your insurance company can then ask for the image that Bingle have and let the process go on from there, if its your reg and not your car then i would be contacting other authorities

Not sure I’d agree with that advice as it could be inferred as be implicitly ‘at fault’.

If you’re absolutely sure it wasn't you, then stick to your guns as the burden of proof should be on them, not you.

That said, if you’re not sure, then agree that then you probably should let the insurance companies battle it out.

That's how I'm rolling with it, I called them again and have sent an email.

I got the letter in the mail Friday and I had until tomorrow to provide my details etc. Now they aren't responding to me.

So just so be clear … you were actually in that car park (or whatever) but had nothing to do with it and someone has incorrectly pinged you as the culprit?
