If a player calls another player a f....t, does the punishment increase if they are gay?
It should decrease!
Wait.
You're saying he should get less of a penalty, for using a derogative term, just because the player that was insulted is of homosexual origin?
Have I read this correctly?
What I'm saying is (if I'm a proud gay man), it's not a lie & it would be like water off a duck's back (like any other insult)
BUT if I wasn't gay I'd take it far more personally & I'd want the penalty to be greater.

If?
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Is this similar to getting double demerit points on public holidays if caught speeding?
Well the exact opposite but yeah. I'd imagine they'd be saying 1 final = 2 minor round games so in this instance a 5 match suspension = 1 minor round + 2 finals making him eligible for the Grand Final they are already in.
I don’t think it’s gone down well that the initial 5 game suspension was leaked to the media prior to the official outcome - Especially Eddie McGuire given the conflict of interest. This is getting ugly.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

I know he didn't get the final results and it's a results-based industry but too a point i can understand why they kept him as long as they did. Genuinely great people with the clubs best interest at hearts isn't as common as we would like or think it is.

Will there be riots, cars on fire, looting etc when they hand down a verdict?

It’s not that. Theres loose lips at AFL HQ and someone will be dragged over the coals about it. Again, this will get ugly.

Hail the great man
He’ll be sorely missed, by the other 17 clubs
