Honestly as a eagles fan I was there the eagles are a long way off from what they were under Sheedy
Glenelg far superior set up with lose players and eagles would kick the ball to them
Going to be difficult times ahead this year and next at this stage

Glenelg brushed aside Woodville-West Torrens by 67 points as it strengthened its position in the Hostplus SANFL League’s top three at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.
Opening up a five-goal advantage by the first change on the back of a seven-goal first term, the reigning premier flexed its muscle when challenged in the second half, piling on 11.8 to the Eagles’ 4.2.
The hosts got within 13 points when James Rowe booted his second goal of the second term in the 20th minute but from there, the Bays held sway as they booted seven of the next nine majors to lead by 48 points at three-quarter time.
Dominating the inside 50m count 69-31 and controlling the tempo for the majority with 102 marks to 54, the Tigers used the ball superbly by foot chiefly through the corridor.
This was of great benefit to Glenelg’s leading forwards in Lachie Hosie (four goals), Liam McBean (three goals) and Luke Reynolds (two goals), who all had plenty of space in front of them to mark with ease.
Tigers Jarryd Lyons and Matt Allen each clocked up 27 disposals to control the midfield, with the former taking a couple of eye-catching marks to add to his tally of 10 for the match.
Luke Partington was busy with 23 disposals while wingman Cole Gerloff was a presence early as he booted two goals and finished with 19 touches.
Midfielder Corey Lyons (16 disposals) and defender Brad McCarthy (eight disposals) made encouraging returns from injury while veteran Darcy Bailey booted three goals for the Bays, including a checkside beauty from the pocket after baulking nicely.
The Eagles welcomed back the Hayes brothers – Jack and Nick – into the line-up for added experience but were unable to hold their game together for long enough.
James Rowe and Kobe Mutch worked tirelessly for their 29 possessions, the former also booting two goals and having six clearances.
Max Beattie used the ball well by foot for the Eagles with his 25 disposals and a goal while captain Joey Sinor refused to concede with 25 disposals and five tackles.
Connor Ballenden and Brody Mair joined Rowe in booting two goals but ultimately, the Eagles weren’t able to do enough to climb back into the top five.
