Mockery is the sincerest form of flattery.

Re: PAFC 2025
Booney, where is Lauren Young at? Is she expected to be at full fitness for this season?

Re: PAFC 2025
Been getting to watch the girls train a bit and she's still running laps and isn't involved in any of the contact drills.Brodlach wrote:Booney, where is Lauren Young at? Is she expected to be at full fitness for this season?
Spoke to her last week and she was hoping to be involved in full training in 2-3 weeks. Listed as 8-10 weeks from playing.
With round 1 4 weeks from now hopefully we see her by round 4 or 5 and she can get some decent games under her belt.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

Re: PAFC 2025
Thanks, gun player and I was hoping she would get a full season in.
Hopefully when she does play she gets through injury free

Re: PAFC 2025
Yep, it's a young (no pun) group who made the prelim last year with a soft draw. Much harder draw this year and she'll be crucial to us getting back to finals footy if we are going to be there. Can't wait to see her out there at AFLW level.

@Brodlach Young was training with the main group last night, no contact hat on but was in the ball work drills.

Re: PAFC 2025
Timmy G’s solution to Ports woes is to bring back all the old blokes like Armfield, Cunningham etc to do a review and board positions

Re: PAFC 2025
Didn’t hear the comments but Bucky is quite rightly very well respected and would do a great job. Whether he has the time or inclination to get involved is a different matter.Brodlach wrote:Timmy G’s solution to Ports woes is to bring back all the old blokes like Armfield, Cunningham etc to do a review and board positions
