Wines, Aliir and Bergman can go in for their surgery now.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Credit where it’s due to anyone who turned up in those conditions.

Other than Butters, Port decided to stay home as they didn’t turn up.

Butters and Rozee are the modern day Kornes … rack up heaps of touches but do they actually have much of an impact on a match? Sometimes, but just as many when they don’t.

As a leadership team? Next question.

Aliir and Georgiades have consistently been amongst those who have battled hard and have never given up all year.

It was always going to be a gap year when the coach transition arrangement was announced bizarrely just before the season.

Appointing Hinkley for 2 years in August 2023, then appointing the next coach from within without scanning the market are up there with the dumbest decisions a club can make.

Carr is knee deep in it, how is next year going to be different?

On field have gone back 13 years, and Hinkley has trashed his reputation. Worst Showdown loss, lowest Showdown score and worst loss in his league coaching career … can’t top that.

For what it’s worth, I’m sure he’s a decent bloke who gave it his all, but just overstayed his welcome. Not his fault, the club kept being seduced by his hollow promises.

Having a Kock as President doesn’t help, coming up with the 3 flags in 5 years rubbish.

They’ll recover one day I guess, but jeez, talk about an unmitigated self inflicted implosion.

Appointing a coach from within isn’t going to make much of a difference when massive changes throughout the whole club are needed.

Glorious, isn’t it?

They’re not alone, plenty of other ladder cloggers out there … Blues, Bombers, Eagles, Kangas and WTF has happened to the Tigers and Dees? … and the AFL wants to add MORE teams, WTF.

The thrashings this round don’t bode well for a healthy comp.

Oh, by the way, well played to Crows. =D>

Port earn the double chance with home finals
Port go out in straight sets
Don’t be like Port.

I think there are a lot of questions for Port but I don’t think at any point you can question Butters and Rozee. Heart and soul which any club, including mine, would love to have.

Respect what you’re saying, just think that their influence on a match doesn’t always match their stats.

That said, certainly not passengers like many of their team mates.

Understand what you are saying too but they try their guts out.

Injuries haven’t helped them.

This season has shown us how much we missed RT last season although it’s been a blessing in disguise
