Different div, no free kick either
Problem with sling tackles is so many different opinions
People want sending off and others saying not even a free kick
Hard to umpire and make a split second decision but would assume the umpires are instructed that if in doubt pay a free at least

Our strategy is more about building the club back up, attracting more people getting more help, getting the fundamentals right and then starting to add on from there. We'd be looking at starting Juniors, maybe in 3 to 5 years perhaps.
This is a point of contention though and I know many at the club disagree with me.

Not sure that's always the case (especially for the key roles such as coaches) especially if they are parents that don't have a preexisting affiliation with the club. Obviously, you will get some help but not an easy task.

I think opposite.. I think the onfield volunteering is easier - coach, team manager, goal umpire etc.. team can certainly look after itself during the season once established.
It's the off field stuff, the governance, organisation, recruitment / social media / player attraction, managing the expectations and requirements of a side.. organising equipment + guernseys, having grounds available + ready + maintained etc etc etc.
