How’s that no HTB against GWS #37 in the last minute!
Shit umpiring again.
Cost me 6 points in the margin
Sack them all

Play On all day long.
Once tackled you must be given a reasonable time to dispose of it legally.
So what if he was spun around in the tackle?
He handballed it probably 1 second after he was tackled.
You don't think 1 second is reasonable time?

Round 24 will be an absolute blockbuster against the Blues

It will have to be Thursday night fixture. Gold Coast will then play Port at AO Friday night so they can get home and Essendon get to the Gold Coast to play the following Thursday night in the Opening Round make up game.

So :

19 Thursday night
20 Friday night
22 Friday night
23 Friday night
24.1 Thursday night
24.2 Thursday night
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

The absolutely beauty of this is they're not ruining my weekend, I can get it out of the way early.

Talking to a friend this morning, I liken supporting Essendon to watching your child try out a new endeavour, and them having absolutely zero idea how to do it.
Sure, they're trying hard, and you can see them put the effort in, and all you can do is smile and say "keep going, next time!".

No wonder I drink...

:lol:

I think that about the umpires, they're out there on "Have a go day" seeing if they like it or not.

I might use Essendon's form as my excuse too, thank you.

He had prior opportunity and got caught
He had plenty of time to immediately dispose of the ball but rolled the dice to break the tackle
He made no attempt to dispose of the ball whilst the tackler hung on.
He spun around to try to lose the tackle - no intention to dispose of it
Nope - I dont think its a reasonable time considering some of the other snap decisions they make

My Friday Forecast -

* Darcy gets tunnelled and creates the news story for the week
* Zorko stars, but is still a knob
* Bont the best player on the ground
* Dogs competitive but cannot beat a top 8 team
* Brions by 27pts
* Attendance 31,563.
