Xerri swings his arm and knocks him out. Not sure how they don't suspend him under the framework they have.

I'd rather the AFL tell Christian to give Reid one for throwing his leg out like he did. Crazy that's not at least a game.

Yep, can't argue with that, it is potentially ankle-breaking and imagine if it had of ended Boaks career?

100% that Harley Reid incident is weeks. I’m all for players being sent off without replacement for 10 minutes if actions beyond doubt are seen as dangerous, reckless and/or intentional. There’s only probably 5-6 times year at most it would ever be used. This is one of those instances. That sort of stuff ruins careers if you snap their leg.

Richards last week chooses to fend off with forearm and concusses LDU who misses a match = nothing to see

Xerri accidentally knocks out a player after he was pushed into the contest = 3 weeks

Tell me the difference, cause I cant see it.

Did the push make Xerri swing his arm around Sparrows head area?

I thought he was somewhat off balance when the contact was made.

His action was careless...as soon as it is careless you are in the hands of the MRO

We have to remember the guidelines the MRO is working under.

Accidents in footy happen, we seem to have lost our way on this. Xerri didn’t do it intentionally. Got to remember he is a 6”11 ruckman and it’s easier for him to collect someone high.

So where was this last week when Richards took out LDU?
North are appealing the ban.

I'd argue the difference between the two is one was a footy action, the other wasn't (MRO is a lotto anyway). (I know what Xerri was trying to do, but getting it wrong like he did doesn't make it look good at all).

I'd like Xerri to get off for SC reasons, but North challenging this is just a donation to the AFL
