Josh Weddle sidelined with bone stress in his back. No certainty to return again in 2025.

Dom Sheed has informed teammates and staff he’s retiring.

The West Coast Eagles midfielder will long be remembered for ‘that’ goal in the 2018 Grand Final.

That's a big loss for the Hawfies. Provides a lot of run.

The problem is they don't wear screw-ins, most boot manufacturers don't even make them anymore.

My eldest played state footy under Darrel Hart back quite a few years ago, he demanded all the boys have a set of screw-ins.
Was near impossible to find a pair about 10 or so years ago, good luck getting some now!

Interesting last 7 weeks. Of the current top 9* these are the games where they play a fellow top 9* member :

Round 17 - no top 8 sides play each other
Round 18 - GC v Coll, WBD v Adel, GWS v Gee, Freo v Haw
Round 19 - Bris v Dogs, Coll v Freo, Adl v Suns
Round 20 - GC v Lions
Round 21 - Adl v Hawks, Coll v Lions
Round 22 - Hawks v Coll
Round 23 - Freo v Lions, Suns v GWS, Adl v Coll
Round 24 - Dogs v Freo, Lions v Hawks

So with 8 rounds to go ( 9*8 = 72 ) only 16 of the last 72 games involve top 9 sides playing each other and 4 of them are next week.

Going to be an awful lot of meaningless ( draft pick ) fixtures ahead.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I was gonna do mine too but on the back of two perfect rounds for you it would be a redundant exercise for me.
