For someone so maligned last season for being soft, Rachele has done a 180 and puts his body on the line and tackles well.

They would have done the usual ACL laxity tests as soon as he got off the ground. From memory there was footage of him hopping up on a table as soon as he got to the interchange bench. I'd say that would give them some initial optimism if he didn't fail those.
