Re: Dull Men’s Club
My expensive electric razor, which has served me well for about 5 years, decided to die a sudden death the other day. I thought, well do I fork out a few hundred dollars for another one, with an ongoing 18 month head replacement of around $90, or do I go back to the old fashion way, and use a safety razor.
Opted to go back to a safety razor. Yes it’s a longer process, with a set routine that any deviation from turns the bathroom into a psycho scene, but get it right, and it’s one of the most satisfying things you can do.
The smoothness is nothing that an electric razor can get close to … I now spend half the day massaging my face.
The bonus is that it’s cheap as, the only ongoing cost is blades which can be had for as little as 15-20c each, which will last few days, and shaving cream, which just a few dollars and lasts weeks.
Add a razor and brush for $25, and you’re all set to go.

I assumed you'd gone the manscaping route until I read 'massaging my face'.

C’mon, there’s nothing like feeling your baby bum smooth face … not sure that came out right.
One week in, dunno why I didn’t do this earlier.
