Re: CDFC 2024
Centrals appear to have a few top players in the U18's. Nairn just kicked his 6th on 3/4 time.

Re: CDFC 2024
Sharp, Nairn, Le Ray & Schubert will all get drafted, would all be a huge chance of playing seniors in 3 weeks time post champs

The noises coming from out north are that Thommo might be going to Port in a coaching role.
Not confirmed yet though.

Or we could just lobby for the comp to become a touch football comp?Spargo wrote:So you’ll be on the hunt for a new head coach and a tackling coach…
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

What now for Dyson Sharp?
The U18's carnival is over so can he now play the rest of the season for Central?
Also what now for McLennan?
Will he stay at Port, or will there be a transfer lodged back to the CDFC today?
Do we want him?
If he was dropped by Port, will he be good for us?
What about Linke too?

Re: CDFC 2025
Can't see Mclennan leaving the money at Port now (this season). He's a very good SANFL player, I'd have him back. Was played out of position at Port.gazzamagoo wrote:What now for Dyson Sharp?

Not sure how Linke's forms been. Maybe he didn't want to do the work required at an SANFL club? Hopefully Tomkinson can find some form (but he was more a replacement for Munn).

The way I understand it is this, Port can "cut" him today, June the 30th, if they want to.Dogs64 wrote:Can't see Mclennan leaving the money at Port now (this season). He's a very good SANFL player, I'd have him back. Was played out of position at Port.gazzamagoo wrote:What now for Dyson Sharp?

With Nick Holman now running around in the VFL, it would be very handy if we could get him back for his twilight years.

As mentioned earlier, Louie McLennan is back at the Club (after completing studies in Qld).

He'd leave the gold coast for Elizabeth? It'd be a big get, but also a difficult one.gazzamagoo wrote:He's 30 now but if fit could keep going for a few more years.azza1719 wrote:If he came back Holman would be a great addition to the doggies.gazzamagoo wrote:With Nick Holman now running around in the VFL, it would be very handy if we could get him back for his twilight years.

He could go bush and earn way more then he could here, Victorian country leagues are where the dollars are, and he's from Victoria too.gadj1976 wrote:He'd leave the gold coast for Elizabeth?
